Video editing, design, and Production- a narrative on the theory of 'Cognitive Dissonance'. A social psychology focussed project, as part of the "Psychology of Internet Behaviour" module, University of Hull, 2014/15.
This was a project that involved creating a narrative around the psychological concept of Cognitive Dissonance, and explaining to a novice/naive viewer what the theory meant/was, using video as a visual tool to tell a narrative story around this idea.
Video was shot and filmed in various locations around North Yorkshire; using a two-man crew (myself, whom was primary filmmaker and editor, and a colleague- whom both co-stared and filmed incremental takes of footage).
Software used: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for creation and manipulation of overlay graphics, insertion of photo-realism within footage. Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects for video edits and exportation.
Special thanks to all participants!
